Days like today make me want to gouge my eyes out. One. Thing. On. Top. Of. Another. It continually piles up and leaves me wanting to scream at the top of my lungs! I spent the day at work putting out fires, dealing with the incompetence of others…or unwillingness to do their job, answering a million questions, and oh yeah, asking everyone I know (and don’t know) if they have seen my keys. Frustration galore. Am I the only person alive who cares about doing a good job? No. I know I am not, but certain departments appear not to care! Augh!

Kevin’s day was not much better. They lost. Barely, and he tells me that the game was basically fixed, and the coach only played our star scoring guard for five minutes in the first half. Wonderful.  On the other hand, if they lose the next one, he might be coming home, which means a whole new level of stress for him, because they will owe him three paychecks on his contract yet.  Blech.

On the flip side, The Boy is charming and insisted on holding hands with his friend (G) as we walked out of school today. On the way in this morning, he ran up to his friend and gave him a big hug, because his friend was crying. When his friend stopped crying, he said, “I made [friend] feel better!” Seriously, his loving heart is absolutely amazing to me! He is a great gift and constant lesson in love!
