As I said at the end of the previous post– At the end of the tour, we returned to the Square in front of the Duomo and enjoyed a nice lunch in a cafe. The least satisfying portion of the trip was constantly being hounded by beggars and other pushy Italians wanting money or to show you their latest “trick.” I sometimes take it for granted how when living in Europe I am able to avoid these tourist situations, but overall, the trip was amazing.
There were some pretty cappuccinos to be sipped.
Gelato to be eaten…
…and late night lap time with daddy to be had.
