I really need to do a better job of recording the things The Boy says/does over here that make me laugh, smile or otherwise cringe in terror. Here’s a few he’s been doing lately.
- ABC’s (yes, all of them)
- Counting to 10 …sometimes skipping ten and going to twelve
- Knock knock jokes and laughing before the punch line
- Banana WHO?
- singing to songs he’s heard a million times
- bursting out in song on his own
- galloping
- climbing in to his own car seat
- wanting to do everything on his own yet snuggle on the couch and in bed
- reading books he’s heard a million times via memorization (just starting and never an entire book…)
- “mmm…that soup good”
- “I want…”
- The other day while pretending to talk to Daddy on the phone it was “I want … a chicken” while pretending to talk to Kevin on the phone.
- I love… fill in the blank…
- mama
- daddy
- apple juice
- chicken
- basically whatever he has at that moment
- “mmm… that good water.”
- I love that he loves water. Juice is a real treat for him!
- “I nurse…” (insert whatever object he is holding and nurturing)
