Kevin has left on a jet plane. He is actually in Washington D.C. picking up his visa and will proceed onward and upward tomorrow. Hopefully. Hotels there are expensive! The team says they will reimburse him.
The first morning was a bit of a rush for me, but I am oddly at peace this year. Last year I was nervous about being apart for so long and being alone for so long with little support. However, a year later, I have friends that I can rely and lean on when necessary, and I am much less intimidated.
