OK. I’ve started and worked on a catching up post that might never get done, so let me just start at a manageable point for now and go back to do the rest later.  Homecoming kept us very busy with events. Thursday night I helped set up for the golf tournament and then got my hair cut for the first time in seven months or so. Friday, I went to the golf tournament early, and then Kevin came around lunch to help out while I went to set up for the evenings All-Sport, All Year Letterwinner’s Reunion. We rushed home to shower and went to the Gala and then the Reunion. After the Reunion, I crashed (so did Kevin), but we woke up to prepare for more fun. Afterall, I was hosting the Rowing Reunion from 11-1. After that, we got ready for our tailgate and the Letterman’s Tailgate, tailgated and went to the game. The Boy had a blast, but we left in the 3rd Quarter. I blamed The Boy, but really it was me. I was BEAT!
Galafootball time

After a great and busy Homecoming weekend, we decided to head on up to Minnesota last weekend. I took off a half day Wednesday to drive up there (plus Thursday and Friday) and we stayed until Monday. The first two days were spent having a blast with Rose and the Clan. We also visited my Grandparents and then went to my dad’s house. On Sunday, Sheri took our picture. As you can imagine, they turned out ridiculously beautiful! You can see all of the ones of our mini-family on my facebook page, but the ones with everyone are not ready. This one is my favorite… I think. Well… maybe. But I am drawn to it a lot.

So here we are at this week, which has flown by. The Boy has been sick, but overall, it is going well. Next week, I head to Covington, KY for a meeting (Monday through Thursday), so I am hoping to catch up on some reading and relaxing in the evenings. Senior economists… it will involve beer. Those guys and gals are an absolutel blast. In spite of all the headaches, I do love my job. :)
Kevin is still waiting and preparing for what life will be like after basketball.
The Boy is generally amazing, but does need to be reminded not to whine and sometimes throws a tantrum when he can’t have what he wants. Oh, the joys of toddlerhood. Overall, he’s still a cool kid. :)
