Hello friends and family! Welcome to our blog. I thought this might be better than sending those random emails. Because I can easily make shorter posts (including scores and stats) and post pictures directly, I will be using this instead of email. Feel free to comment here or email me with any thoughts and questions. I will try to update this more often, and hopefully, I can get Kevin to help keep it up to date.
Let me get you up to speed…
Kevin has not been playing because of his knee, but he might try to shoot again this week. Hopefully he can return to action next week, but he is not trying to push it. His team finished the season in 6th place, and their first play-off game is Tuesday night at Dijon. In keeping with the French abnormalities, the team with “home-court advantage” plays the first game on the road and then plays at home in a best of three series. Dijon has been hot late in the season, but they are without one of their better players who was recently injured.
On Saturday, we traveled to Paris to visit some friends vacationing there. We spent the day shopping, eating and enjoying their company. It was a great time.
On an exciting note, Kevin and I found out that we are expecting! The French medical system is a little strange, but I am receiving good healthcare, and I feel quite well. The baby should arrive around mid-December (December 13 is my expected due date) in a country that has yet to be determined! It should work out well, because most countries have a break ju
st after that, so Kevin should be around a lot and be able to bond with the baby before he goes back to being on the road for basketball.
I did buy one thing for the baby already. I just couldn’t help myself… boy or girl, the child is going to be seen wearing this!
That is about all for now. I hope all is well with everyone. Don’t forget to bookmark our page!
